Beginner-friendly REST API Testing Guide

Two years ago, I have a friend who was trying to find a job as a tester. She is a mum who hasn't worked for eleven years, and before that she was working as a chief. Working in technology is something she wants to do but it has proven to be a hard journey. She is resilient, hard-working, and eager to learn. She finally found a job as a tester after two years of job hunting, studied in an expensive code camp, talked to all the people she could find, and worked a few months as an intern.

I admiring her.

But I also feel bad about how hard for her to locate a job as a tester.

I always optimize for learning, and her hard journey becomes a motivation to me, to do something to help people who want to better themselves and learn something about testing.

That's how this beginner-friendly guide started.

If you heard of REST API and Microservices, and want to learn how to test it and how to write automation tests, I hope you will find this tutorial is helpful to get you to start.

There are some testing communities we're recommending if you want to find more testers to have inspiring conversations.

Learning is a beautiful thing. Hope you enjoy it.
